Signature Restaurant will be open from 25 June to 12 September 2010.
Nicholas Moritz is joining the Breathtaker team as Executive Chef for the 2010 winter season. Nicholas is passionate about quality food and ensuring the highest culinary standards possible are met.
Nicholas has been working as a chef for 16 years, commencing his cooking career at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Melbourne, before spending 2 years in London working at the Michelin Star Putney Bridge Restaurant and Bar. More recently Nicholas has been Head Chef at a range of venues across Melbourne including Chinotto at Federation Square, and the award winning Le Gourmet in East Melbourne. We warmly welcome Nicholas to the Breathtaker team and look forward to him bringing his wealth of knowledge to all our Mt Buller guests.

"Tomahawk" Rib Eye Steak
The tomahawk is one of the largest rib eye steaks in Australia, weighing between 900 & 1300 grams, & takes its name from the 30 centimetres of rib bone that is left on the meat.
Due to the size of the tomahawk steak the cooking time can be up to 45 minutes. Therefore we suggest ordering in advance. Served on a bed of mash with a homemade jus. The tomahawk steak will easily feed two. Price $85, sides available. Signature has limited availability each night.

You and your guests choose from an array of fresh raw ingredients to dip into a soy and mirrin broth. It is a great healthy dinner for interaction, sharing and socialising. Bookings essential by 4.00pm each steamboat night Adults $55.00 Children under 12 $25.00. Group bookings welcome.
